About

For those who haven’t reached the half-century mark, or even your 40s, let me clue you in…

Little aches start popping up.. a belly, you once thought “I can get rid of any time I want”, becomes a permanent fixture on your body, a nap has become the greatest invention known to man  and…

Getting a  middle-aged body fit, isn’t easy.

I decided to do this for multiple reasons,

  • I wanted my “video game addicted” son to get in better shape (he’s my workout buddy)
  • I wanted to be able to look and feel good
  • I didn’t want to end up like my aging relatives, that need assistance just getting over a door threshold..

At 52 i knew losing weight and getting stronger only gets tougher from this point forward.. so when I found P90x I thought I would give it my best shot.. I mean really.. my BEST shot..

there were a lot of exercises I couldn’t do at first, and some, I’m still not able to do.. but I just keep going for it..

like I said, it’s not going to easier as I get older.

this is my unedited journey, of getting fit, and losing a few pounds. hopefully it will help some other Middle-aged man or woman to make the effort as well.. even after 30 days I see improvement, even if it’s not easy to see in my pictures
